Our expertise encompasses electric power utilities, heavy industrial, mining, oil beside commercial and residential and our services include conceptual and feasibility studies, detailed design, site support, amid development, appointing and extend management, all in multi-discipline environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Knowledge and proficiency reading and preparing electrical deliverables (single line diagrams, electrical layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams, electrical heat tracing isometrics, panel schedules, cable schedules) for new and upgraded installations
- Preparing, verifying and implementing electrical design calculations such as voltage drop, cable sizing, cable tray loading, conduit fill, electrical heat tracing
- Must be comfortable working in a 3D environment and reviewing models
- Excellence in interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently as well as in a team environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical school diploma
- 6+ years of related design experience within an EPC, mining or a large-scale petro-chemical facilities
- E.T. in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Experience using AutoCAD, Microstation, Autoplant and other 3D modeling software is an asset
- Knowledge and proficiency with the Canadian Electrical Code and proficiency in using its rules and tables is a must
- Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT:
3 months’ probation period and then full time depending on the performance
